What materials are used to build a wood-fired oven?

 In FAQs

A wood-fired oven can be built from a range of materials. Some use traditional clay brick, while others use more advanced materials such as refractory fire bricks used in kilns. At Fire Pie Oven Co., our oven chambers are made of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), a special type of concrete that can withstand high temperatures and reduces the typical cracking that can occur in conventional wood-fired ovens.

As far as the oven exterior, we work with our customers’ material and feature preferences to create 100% customizable exterior design.
